Meet Alexi Hubbell Photography
“A lot of people have taste, but they don’t have the daring to be creative”
Photography has been one of my true callings from a very early age. As a little girl I would flip through old magazines and visualize being the photojournalists behind those images. Photography, camera building, and darkrooms has run in my family for many generations and I can tell you all about it if you ask!
When my face isn't hidden behind a camera, I can be found feeding my addiction to music with a vintage Motown album on the record player, hitting my punching bag like Muhammad Ali, and crawling under furniture to retrieve tennis balls with my Jack Russels, Mesa Boogie and Elvis Costello Jackson Leroy Brown Presley.
I am a Durango native who delights in serving and caring for others. I aim to capture all of life's moments, both big and small: a women's true form and beauty, the smallest and most special details of the wedding day, the delicate moments not often seen, the inside jokes that are shared between two loves, or perhaps, your true identity in a simple portrait. I consider myself a storyteller. That old saying, "a picture is worth a thousand words", can best describe my view of what a photo can really mean. Photography is a fine art and I strive for nothing less as your final result.
I preserve memories and capture emotions in a moment that will never come again.
I snap eternal images of:
