In 2013 she married the man of her dreams and during the wedding planning she fell in love with the process and being able to make her day special. After this she realized this is a passion that she wanted peruse, that she truly loves helping brides make their visions come true on the most important day of their lives. She began her training as a professional wedding coordinator spending several years at two different regional wedding venues and is now excited to share her expertise and coordinate weddings for Celebrations.

She also specializes in color and fine textured hair in the salon. She is the Wedding Coordinator for Hair Fusion and her best advice for brides is to “do a trial, it takes the stress and guesswork out of the day of vision for your perfect look. It also allows us to make sure all accessories work well with your chosen style and let’s the bride rest easy knowing her dream look can become a reality. Also bring pictures of several looks you like, it greatly improves communication, and we can create your perfect version for your special day”
Harley Carney - Wedding Makeup Stylist
I have done makeup for five years, since I was in college, and hair for three years. In the salon I specialize in blonde and color corrections.
I started doing wedding makeup when I was still in cosmetology school, and have sort of specialized myself in wedding beauty ever since then. I’ve been involved with the ‘behind the scenes’ of weddings since I was in high school, taking photos and helping with catering, but finding my niche in the industry has been life changing!
Christa McMahon- Destination Honeymoon Designer
There’s a study that says that some people are predisposed to love traveling; they call it the Wanderlust Gene. The kind of person who can’t help but travel all the time, finding unique adventures and posting glamorous photos. Well, I have that gene and I want to help others exercise theirs.
Serving and making people happy is as wrapped up in my DNA as much as is wanderlust. I will go above and beyond to ensure that your travels are everything that you could expect and more, because I know it’s so much more than just a vacation.
aerial bartending and PERFORMANCE
Vanessa Sirois is an aerialist and performer best known for her love of spinning on any apparatus, mainly aerial hoop. She discovered aerial arts in Durango, CO 4 years ago, and has been in the air ever since co-producing and performing in cirque style shows several times a year. Her other love affair is creating unique costuming and aerial entertainment, from fluid aerial dancing to suspended champagne pouring, for special events.
Melissa Coria - Seamstress and Designer
I’ve been sewing for 40 years, I’m from LA where right after high school, I started working for the theatre making and altering costumes, that opened doors for me to get invited into the film industry, again as a costume designer. I started my own business designing and making high end gowns, including bridal gowns, in 2009 we moved to Durango, I decided to support my husband in his career so I started doing alterations, which I was quite hesitant about doing just alterations and not designing, then I discovered Durango Brides, which are just lovely to work for, I am currently doing my passion, although not designing I am able to make a brides gown fit like a glove in the most beautiful way possible, out of my bridal studio in Durango Colorado.
