San Juan Forest, Mountaintop Elopement: Leasa + Randy

It was such a treat to be a part of Leasa and Randy’s Colorado elopement. We have been planning there summer ceremony since this past winter and we were all eager to see the day finally come. We expected this day to be extra fabulous!. What we didn’t expect was that the snow-pack would prevent us from being able to get to our decided ceremony site!

Couples appreciate the fact that I can help them with location choices, checking on the snow, permits, timelines, and all the little details they may not know about coming from a different city or state. For weeks leading up to the wedding day, I had been driving up the canyon to see if the snow had melted enough for us to be able to four wheel to our spot. The day before the wedding I had to call it and give Leasa and Randy our new location up at Purgatory.

It worked our swimmingly because these two LOVE to ride in their side-by-side ATVs and explore the mountains and they were able to do that the day before and the day of the wedding. Leasa fell in love with the Aspen trees up above Purgatory Ski Resort and told me she wanted to be married in them. So we did just that!

I couldn’t be happier for an amazing winter of allllll the snow and for this two lovebirds!
