Madison + Jayden Peacock: Echo Basin Ranch

Jayden and Madison Peacock married at Echo Basin Ranch with just their wedding party. Covid-19 limited their number of guests to ten or less but the two of them took it all in stride and ended up having the best wedding day they could have hoped for. From the perfect weather to the intimacy of just a few close friends as their witnesses, this wedding was flawless and full of romance. I loved taking the couple up into the mountains to get some epic Colorado views and one long and breathtaking sunset that lasted an hour. I just couldn’t help myself and ended up staying well past my expected departure time because there was just much to see from up in the mountains, looking down over Mancos and Cortez.

I was not only giddy because of the views and the perfect lighting, but I was also swept up by this couple’s love story. See, Jayden knew he was going to marry Madison on their very first date. As the evening wound down, he went above and beyond and brought her up to a rooftop parking lot where they danced to the country song, “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot”. When I was told this, I exclaimed, “on a FIRST date!?”. Jayden knew it was over the top but he knew he needed to make a good impression because he knew she was the one and only. Over the next couple of years, Jayden began his proposal process by leaving Madison cute little notes on the backs of note cards periodically. When they all lay flat and are put together, they created a map for Madison to follow; a treasure trail. Can you imagine? The patience, the trust, the dedication. That is true love if I have ever seen it.

Enjoy,
